Can I Have an IM Client Please?

Yes I know it kinda goes against what I mentioned in my last post, but now the Second Life viewer is open source, and all the strokey-beard types can do their programming thing, can I put in a request? Can I have a standalone IM client, that’s like MSN Messenger or Yahoo! Messenger that runs o my PC as a standalone app? So I don’t have to log in with the 3D client and I can still chat even when the rest of the office is looking over my shoulder.

Please?

    And that;s why the web is internesting as well. Throw out a question and you get an answer. Thanks very much for this… I’m away to have a look at it and bat some eyelashes at the cute guy in IT who runs the firewall thingy.
